I often wonder and process if beings are aided by some kind of external intelligence. This concept seems very close to the concept of a God. The human brain has had many meanings in pop culture. Some have equated the brain to be split in two, with one hemisphere controlling one side of the body and the other side controlling the other. Others have equated the people that are right brained biased and are considered more creative than people that are left brained who are considered to be more logical and mathematical. The frontal lobe of the brain as the image states is in charge of executive functions, thinking, planning, organizing and problem solving. This diagram does not make sense as reasoning and thinking is related to doing to mathematics which is marked to be completed in the parietal lobe. Another problem would be translating the data that is processed in each lobe to the consciousness, presenting a choice and the proper glyphs to write down when working on an Algebra problem. According to the diagram, the brain is more of a data processor than a sense interpreting food finding tool. Another instance, a person sees something and attempts to extrapolate what an object is. Does this mean the consciousness is aware and is capable of asking the brain what the object as seen by the Occipital Lobe and the Frontal lobe is thinking or processing what the object is? What then is the algorithm and what lobe is targeted for generating and recalling the word for the consciousness? Where is the word stored in memory? If the brain is completely made of synapses and neurons. How does the frontal lobe know the correct algorithm for recalling a word that has been learned decades previously? I would assume this means there is something extra that aids the brain and the consciousness.

To a computer, the process of recalling a word for something the eyes see and the brain interprets is actually fairly simple. For instance, there is an app made by Google called, Google Googles. The app uses the devices camera and snaps a picture of the object, text, label etc. and queries a database based on the analysis completed by the app. For a computer, this is once again very straight forward. In the case of human beings, the word for that object could be sent to the consciousness and following reasoned with the frontal lobe or simply spoken. The ability of a machine connected to the brain that can receive and process the senses experienced by the brain, have infinite potential.
